Raid Max® Bug Barrier with Reusable Auto Trigger is a bug killer with a battery operated trigger that releases a continuous, evenly dispersed spray by holding down the trigger. The auto trigger is designed to reduce hand fatigue. The 30 oz., ½ Gallon and Gallon size starters have refills available.

How do I use Raid Max® Bug Barrier with Reusable Auto Trigger?

The Reusable Auto Trigger is purchased with a clear tab securing it in the lock position. Remove the clear tab from the lock switch and discard. Place the switch in the unlock position. Squeeze and hold the trigger for continuous spray.

What insects does Raid Max® Bug Barrier kill?

Ants, Boxelder Bugs, Centipedes, Cockroaches (including Asian and German), Crickets, Dermestids, Firebrats, Fleas, Gnats, Ground Beetles, Houseflies, Mole Crickets, Mosquitoes, Palmetto Bugs, Pillbugs, Scorpions, Silverfish, Small Flying Moths, Sowbugs, Spiders, Ticks and Waterbugs.

How long will the batteries last?

Battery life will vary based on usage; however, at full pressure, the approximate battery life is:
5 bottles for the 30oz. bottle
2.5 bottles for the ½ Gallon bottle
1.2 bottles for the Gallon bottle

How quickly does the Reusable Auto trigger dispense product?

Using continuous pressure, the Reusable Auto Trigger will discharge in approximately:
4.5 minutes for the 30 oz bottle
15 minutes for the ½ gallon bottle
30 minutes for the gallon bottle

What is the approximate coverage area?

30oz = 300 Linear Feet
½ Gallon = 1000 Linear Feet

What is the active ingredient in Raid Max® Bug Barrier?

Deltamethrin, which provides up to 12 month residual activity on German Cockroaches.

Are the triggers interchangeable?

No. The ½ gallon/gallon trigger assembly is specifically designed for the ½ gallon/gallon refills. Meanwhile, the 30 oz. trigger assembly is specifically designed for the 30 oz. refills.

Triggers cannot be used on other products either; the trigger head is mated up with the bottle using a patented lock & key mechanism that ensures the right head is used with the right refill so that there is no cross-contamination of formulas.

Are the bottles/triggers recyclable?

The bottles are recyclable (HDPE #2). The triggers are not recyclable but are reusable with the correct refills.

How long is the hose on the gallon trigger?

Approximately 2 ½ feet long

Can I use Raid Max® Bug Barrier around children and pets?

As with all insecticide treatments it is suggested to have children and pets leave the room and return once the application has dried.

If it rains will I need to immediately re-apply?

Weather & sunlight will breakdown the chemical & the residual effectiveness so re-application may be necessary to maintain peak protection.

Does Bug Barrier have the same quick kill as Raid® Ant & Roach Killer?

No, Bug Barrier will not kill as quickly as regular Raid® Ant & Roach Killer. The Bug Barrier formulation is focused on residual/barrier treatment.

Does the product have a chemical odor?

This product leaves no odor.

Are there surfaces that should be avoided when using this product?
